Parting Glass performs an original blend of traditional styles with a decidedly Celtic flavor, featuring the acclaimed songwriting, singing, and guitar playing of Kevin Dooley along with the beautifully ethereal vocals of Beth Leachman, the multi-instrumental magic of Steve Mullins and the bass-playing virtuosity of Chris Engleman. Each member of this special group has performed professionally for many years in a variety of musical styles and settings. With ancestral roots in the British Isles, they each feel a special connection to Celtic music and this project represents a conscious "returning" to those roots, while bringing along their many other musical influences - blues, jazz, flamenco, bluegrass, rock, balkan music, etc..
